The Pirates added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Whitney Myers doubled, and Ruby Rengo singled, each scoring one run. Olson earned the win for the Grantsburg Pirates. They gave up two hits and one run (zero earned) over six innings, striking out seven and walking one. Stewart took the loss for Prescott. The starting pitcher went four innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits, striking out seven and walking one. Myers collected the save. Myers and Rengo were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for the Pirates. Huebraud, Richter, and Blomquist each collected one hit for Prescott. Prescott didn't commit a single error in the field. French had the most chances in the field with 10. The Grantsburg Pirates play at home on Tuesday against Minnehaha Academy in their next game.
